2003

Capital increase to 8,267,000 euros. By the end of August, 1,970 new shares are subscribed; after the inclusion of the project company Steinberg-Prinzendorf, the number of shareholders rises up to 605 persons.
Erection of Windpark Steinberg-Prinzendorf; official opening in August. Windkraft Simonsfeld now has three wind parks of its own and provides more than 50,000,000 kWh of energy to the power network every year.

2004

In summer, grand opening of the new office building in Simonsfeld.

2005

Three wind parks are erected in Weinviertel: Windpark Kreuzstetten with 10 turbines, Windpark Poysdorf-Wilfersdorf with 9 turbines and Windpark Rannersdorf with 4 turbines. A total capacity of 46 MW is now installed.

2006

At end of January, capital increase is successfully closed; new equity capital to the amount of 7.9 million euros are raised. Adjustment of market value to 24,499,500 euros.

2007

In Windpark Poysdorf-Wilfersdorf five and in WP Kreuzstetten two new wind turbines of the type Typ Vestas V90/2 MW are erected. The total investment in the project expansion amounts to 17.5 million euros.

2008

June: WKS Holding GmbH sells the two wind turbines of the type V 52 in Glaubitz to WEB BG Deutschland GmbH.

June/September: Windpark Zistersdorf is Austria's first wind park to be dismantled completely: 4 wind turbines of the type DeWind 48/600 are dismounted and set-up anew in Poland.

November: In Windpark Hipples-Kreuzstetten one and in Windpark Steinberg-Prinzendorf six wind turbines of the type Vestas V90 with an investment volume of 17.1 million euros are erected.

December: Foundation of a new project company in Rumania to develop a wind park in the Banat region, in the south-west of the country. 98.02% of Windkraft Resita s.r.l. are owned by WKS Holding GmbH.
