1996
On July 6, Windkraft Simonsfeld GmbH & Co KG is founded; the founding members are simultaneously also the first shareholders.
1997
Capital increase to 488,000 euros.
1998
Windpark Simonsfeld is erected and officially opened on June 20. Before July, the two wind turbines of the type Vestas V44 feed the first million kilowatt hours of electricity into the network. At the same time the project planning for Windpark Hipples is started.
1999
Capital increase to 1,979,000 euros.
2000
Erection of Windpark Hipples; on June 19, the first wind turbine is connected to the mains power network. On September 9, the wind park is opened officially. After the second capital increase, 294 persons are owners of the wind turbines in Simonsfeld and Hipples.
2001
In December, Windpark Glaubitz in Saxony, Germany, is opened. Windkraft Simonsfeld holds an investment in two of the totally twelve turbines of the type Vestas V 52/850 kW.
