Wind Park Simonsfeld
Windpark Simonsfeld is the first project by Windkraft Simonsfeld, with its site providing the name for our corporation. The pioneer unit has produced energy with two VESTAS V44 since 1998. In the meantime the two turbines have become the ’landmark’ of Simonsfeld and their stylized form is the corporation’s logo.
The hub height is 63 m; the rotor has a diameter of 44 m. The nominal output of each turbine amounts to 600 kilowatt hours, producing an annual output of 2,100,000 kWh. The erection costs amounted to €1.24 million.
